Voor Arwens geboorte hanteerde Elrond Hadhafang aan het einde van het tweede tijdperk van Midden-Aarde, tijdens de laatste Alliantie van Elfen en Mensen in de grote strijd tegen Sauron. Later gebruikte zijn dochter, Arwen, Hadhafang toen zij Frodo hielp bij zijn ontsnapping van de Ringwraith. Op het lemmet staan runen in de Elven taal van Sindarin met de woorden "aen estar Hadhafang i chathol hen, thand arod dan i thang an i arwen". Wat zich vertaalt in "dit zwaard heet Hadhafang, een nobele verdediging tegen de vijandelijke troep voor een nobele dame."

Ok, so I had some big problems with the delivery, turns out that DPD lost the item! But, thankfully the people at OtakuNinjaHero are amazing and are great with communication, they sent a replacement which arrived nice and quickly. So putting aside the big delay, the item its self is gorgeous, I am so glad I bought this, it looks fantastic on my bedroom wall and its heavy, which tells me its QUALITY. Definitely will buy another sword in the future!
