Evangelion
The Japanese apocalyptic mecha anime series Evangelion is widely popular among genre fans. It is also one of the most critically acclaimed animes created by Hideaki Anno. Evangelion, formally titled "Neon Genesis Evangelion," debuted as a manga in 1994 as an introduction to the anime series released a year later, becoming an instant hit among viewers across the board. Since its first release, the anime has been rendered into many different mediums and spinoffs, including light novels, video games, and feature-length films, namely Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, End of Evangelion, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.
Evangelion has become the phenomenon it is today by tackling complex yet everyday issues related to human psychology, religion, and philosophy. It tells the story of Shinji Ikari and his group of peers, including Asuka Langley Soryu and Rei Ayanami; a team of trained teenagers who pilot massive humanoid robots called Evangelions to fight off immense beings called "the Angels," intent on destroying mankind while it is already suffering the aftermath of a devastating cataclysmic explosion.
Given the dynamic situations and characters of the Evangelion series, the collectibles in the series are just as vibrant and attractive. The popular Evangelion collectibles include figurines of the protagonists in various iconic poses. The detailed PVC collectible figures of Asuka Langley Soryu and Rei Ayanami are the most in-demand collectibles from the series. Each collectible features intricate design details present in the original characters, including the voluminous hairstyles and exact costume designs.
The Neon Genesis Evangelion collectible figures are the perfect addition to the collections of devoted anime fans. These figures can be displayed individually in their original window box packaging as the highlight of your collection or as a part of a themed decorative display along with other Evangelion characters.
