Slime Reincarnated
Slime Reincarnated, also called That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, is a Japanese light novel series by Fuze that made quite a mark in the Isekai genre. The novel series began online publication in 2013, and its first hard copies were released in 2014. Slime Reincarnated, which has twenty volumes to date, was also turned into a well-liked manga and animated television programme. Based on positive audience response, an anime feature film, an RPG video game app, and an original spin-off miniseries were also released for adoring fans. Slime buffs now eagerly await the third season of Slime Reincarnated, set to premiere in 2024.
Slime Reincarnated follows the adventures of Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old salaryman, reincarnated into a fantasy world as a slime creature after a random encounter with a mysterious assailant. After death, he awakens in a different world as a blue, amorphous slime with unique abilities. He soon discovers that this new world is filled with magic, monsters, and various races, including humans, elves, dwarves, and more.
In his slime form, Satoru possesses the ability to devour and assimilate other creatures, granting him their abilities and knowledge. He adopts a new identity called Rimuru Tempest and sets out on a journey to explore this unfamiliar world and make sense of his newfound powers. Along the way, he befriends various creatures, including a storm dragon named Veldora and an ancient demon called Milim Nava.
