This elegant Freemason ceremonial sword combines a white grip, a beautifully engraved 440 steel blade and luxurious gold-colored details. Measuring ±90 cm in total length, it features a gold-colored pommel, a polished white ABS handle wrapped with golden brass wires and a solid brass guard decorated with a Masonic Templar-style cross. The mirror-polished metal sheath, with gold-colored fittings and a carrying chain, completes the refined silver-and-gold appearance. An impressive decorative centrepiece for Freemasons, collectors and enthusiasts of ceremonial swords, Templar-inspired designs and Masonic symbolism.
Symbolism and historical background
The Masonic and Templar-style cross — The cross has a long history in religious, heraldic and chivalric traditions. Cross designs associated with the Knights Templar often reference the medieval military order founded in the early twelfth century. Modern decorative objects use Templar-inspired crosses as references to medieval chivalry, duty and tradition. The cross on the guard is a design element; its presence does not make the sword an authentic historical Templar artefact or an official Masonic item.
Ceremonial swords in Freemasonry — Ceremonial swords appear in some Masonic jurisdictions and related traditions. Their use and symbolism vary between organisations and rituals. In a ceremonial setting, a sword may represent duty, vigilance, honour or the responsibility of a formal role.
White, silver and gold — The white grip creates a clean contrast with the silver-colored blade and the gold-colored fittings. White is often associated with purity or sincerity in various symbolic traditions, while gold can suggest prestige, distinction and honour. These are broad associations rather than universal Masonic meanings.
The Perfect Gift for a Freemason
The engraved 440 steel blade adds visual detail along its length. The mirror-polished metal sheath reflects the silver-colored blade, while the gold-colored fittings complement the pommel and guard. The included carrying chain completes the ceremonial appearance – ideal for a collection, study, lodge-themed room or historical interior.
