Series background
In the world of House of the Dragon, Dark Sister is one of the two legendary ancestral swords of House Targaryen, alongside Blackfyre. Unlike the broader, more imposing Blackfyre, Dark Sister is known for its comparatively slender blade and elegant design. Its history stretches back to the early Targaryen dynasty, and it was originally wielded by Queen Visenya Targaryen, one of Aegon the Conqueror’s sister-wives.

The sword later passed through several generations of Targaryens before being entrusted to Prince Daemon Targaryen by King Jaehaerys I, in recognition of Daemon’s abilities as a warrior. In House of the Dragon, Daemon is portrayed as a formidable fighter and experienced dragonrider, known for his ambition, combat skills and unpredictable nature. Daemon wields the sword in battle, including during the conflict in the Stepstones against the forces led by Craghas Drahar, known as the Crabfeeder. The sword reflects Daemon’s identity as a warrior and his connection to the history and power of House Targaryen.

Ideal for Fans and Collectors
This Dark Sister replica recreates the distinctive appearance of Daemon Targaryen’s legendary weapon in a decorative format. The stainless steel blade provides a clean metallic finish, while the carefully finished design and impressive 120 cm total length create a striking visual presence. The included black wooden display plaque offers an elegant way to showcase the sword on a wall or in a dedicated display area.
