Series background
Narsil is one of the most legendary swords in Lord of the Rings. It was wielded by Elendil, the High King of Gondor and Arnor, during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men against Sauron. When Elendil fell in battle, his son Isildur took up the broken sword and used its shards to cut the One Ring from Sauron’s hand, marking a defining moment in Middle-earth’s history.

Although Narsil was broken during the battle, its legacy endured. The sword was eventually reforged into Andúril, the Flame of the West, carried by Aragorn during his journey to claim his royal heritage.
